Brass and Sassy

“A Brass and Sassy Affair” is a fundraising event in which the students of SFPAA showcase their many talents in front of an audience of over 400 people. The talent displayed is by far the best Tulsa has ever seen. The SFPAA students do a phenomenal job showing our guest the many things they’ve learned while simultaneously educating them. The performances, silent auction, music, dinner and fellowship will be enjoyed by all while raising funds to support local charities and their school, Solid Foundation
Preparatory Arts Academy.

Economics Fair

The Economics Fair is the culmination of a 8-week lesson on Economics the SFPAA students take part in. During the months of November – January, all SFPAA students learn the basic principles of Economics. In addition to learning about Economics, students gather together in teams and begin the process of becoming entrepreneurs. Students learn to conceptualize a product produce, take it through the process of concept to prototype and eventually sales. Students also learn the value of community service and providing for those who cannot provide for themselves.

OverTime Afterschool Program

SFPAA offers the OverTime Afterschool Program sponsored by Latimer-Cooksey Arts and Cultural Foundation. The program is an extension of the academic and arts program provided. The afterschool program is an 1.5 hour program that offers Tutoring, Chess, and Girl Power.
